Secondhand + sustainable craft supplies, classes, and community in the heart of Irvington đŸ§¶

We don't want a data center in our neighborhood (or anyone else's). So we had design these AMAZING yard signs for the community! We'll have them at the shop this Thursday if the shipping gods shine upon us. (Neighbor businesses - lmk if you want some and I'll bring a stack to you this week.)
Folks who are already fighting back:
Andy Nielsen, Indianapolis City-County Councilor, District 14 is advocating for his district (thank you!)
Mirror Indy doing some amazing reporting on this and the other in-progress data center projects
Irvington Community Council
Everyone who showed up at the last approval meeting, ily
Would love to know who else is pushing against this in a coordinated way!

Help! We have too much yarn!
Stop by any day this week for 25% off all yarn. We'll have allll of our backstock out and there's some nice stuff in there đŸ§¶
And yes! You can stack discounts! Bring in a donation for an extra 15% off (just keep our policy of 1 bag/box per person per day in mind, please and thank you 😘)

This community has been so generous with us! We're incredibly grateful for everyone who has ever donated.

Because of our small space, we need to start limiting walk-in donations. When we get multiple big donations in one day, it makes it hard for customers to navigate the shop, and we want to make sure it remains a welcoming, safe, comfortable spot for everyone.

So here's the deal: walk-ins can only bring one grocery bag of donations per day. If you'd like to donate more than that, great! Just get in touch first so we can plan a drop-off time.

And please, please: don't donate trash! We are exactly as interested in your dried up pens, stained bed linens, and broken tools as you are. We want to minimize what goes into landfill, but when someone donates trash, there's nowhere else we can put it.

Thank you for understanding. We love, love, love y'all for making this business work.

Hi friends, new and old! We’ve gotten some extra attention lately after a Facebook post made the rounds yesterday. To everyone who found us through that post: we’re so glad you’re here!
That said, we want to clear up some confusion.

First of all: we’re not a warehouse. Our shop is a cozy 250-ish square feet, packed to the brim with art and craft supplies. We’d love to move into a giant space one day
but for now, we love our tiny spot in our sweet neighborhood.

Second: we don’t sell “scrap.” Because our space is small, we curate ~~heavily~~. When we get donations that don’t fit the space, we either give them away for free, or sell them at a steep discount during our periodic yard sales (another one coming soon!). What’s sold in the actual shop is all quality, never scrap.

Third: AI gives us the ick. We love artists. We love DIYers. We love anyone who creates something with love and care (and tears and frustration
) with their brain and their own two hands. That post that helped a bunch of y’all find us (and the accompanying article) were AI-generated slop with a headline that doesn’t even describe us accurately. We love attention (I’m a Leo if you’re curious) but we’d really rather get it from human beings, not robots. We didn’t know about this article until after it was live, and we would have asked the creators not to run it if they’d given us a say.

I’m not going to link directly to the post (because I don’t want to send them more traffic) but I’ll share some screenshots in my story if you want context. If you do run across the post: please like/engage with my comment, so it hopefully shows up at the top. I want to make sure folks who learn about us know what we really are – a cozy, curated secondhand craft supplies store – and aren’t disappointed when they come visit.

Okay! Now that’s all off my chest, I really hope all you folks who just learned about us will come and see us. But please don’t expect a warehouse! If it’s too packed when you stop by, go give our neighbors a visit: Irvington Vinyl & Books, Magpie Studio and Gallery, Snug, Strange Bird, Hampton & Co, Market Vintage, and so many more.

- These sick retro 90s looms
- A working Singer Tiny Tailor machine -- great for small spaces or someone just getting started!

- Prismacolor pastel set in nearly new condition
- Colored foil (honestly...no clue what this is used for but it looks cool!)
- Iridescent window cling sets in two styles
