'Papa love'

I'm trying to get over my fear of painting portraits: ...practice, practice, practice. What better subject matter than Ronnie and Parker. (I am Daddy and Ronnie is Papa.) We rescued Parker in 2020 and our love affair started. She is such a special dog.
Using a black background allows me to 'paint with light', a technique I love doing.

How about a few watercolors? It is so different than painting with oil but fun nonetheless. Comments have been positive and these three have already found a new home.
