You just booked the role. Yay!
And you werenโt scrambling. You knew exactly what to do because youโve done the work. You have a process. Itโs yours and itโs ready.
Thatโs what working with me actually builds.
Iโm Sarah. On-set acting coach and private coach for working actors. I work with actors consistently so that by the time the big opportunity lands, the foundation is already solid.
No panic prep. No starting from scratch. Just you showing up and doing what you know how to do.

Working actors, what does your prep process actually look like right now?
Drop it below. ๐
I was on set when a surprise surfaced around a guest role. This actor had a massive monologue, multiple pages, and they knew every single word cold. Every pause. Even the stage directions felt "locked in."
So the camera starts rolling and theyโre completely robotic. no sense of discovery. Not because they didnโt prepare...Because every single thought was about not messing up the lines. Thatโs fear with a mask of preparation.
we grabbed a moment together and got really specific with the imagery: I helped plant a seed for allowing versus delivering.
Was it a perfect fix? No. But something unlocked. And they found something real inside all of that terror.
Do not allow your fear to let you fixate on the lines. The dialogue is only the jumping off point.
Have you ever shown up -- thinking you were completely prepared but then still felt completely frozen?
