Covered bridges and close knit families are a great combination for a wintery Saturday. I had the best time hanging out and catching up with Amy, Ms Jeannie, Tim, Joshua and Anna Grace!
For 17 years I have been photographing this family and I feel so blessed to continue to do so with each year!

Do you see it? Do you hear it?

Confidence is evident! Look around! A smile, holding your head high, walking tall (or struttin' ha!) and a hearty laugh are sure signs of a confident person! When I am around my friend De, I always leave her feeling more confident than I did before our session!

My friend is also very determined! She put in the hours at the gym, the time in the kitchen and it shows! When she showed up to our session in that colorful dress she was BEAMING! And why wouldn't you be? Have you seen her arms!? Have you seen her gorgeous smile? And, to top it off, she decided to shave her head! OF COURSE, we had to do a photo shoot! STUNNING!

De - You amaze me! Truly! As my Daddy says, you have grit! True, honest, rubber-meets-the-road GRIT! I am so very proud of all of your hard work and even more thankful you asked me to photograph this 'new you!' You are FIERCE and FABULOUS!

Life is filled with 'benchmark moments'. You know the ones I am talking about. These are those types of moments we can identify as life 'before' and 'after' this particular time. And one of those moments for my friend Bella is 'the year I turned 16.'

Milestone moments help us appreciate where we've been, where we are now and the excitement of what is to come! Happy Sweet 16, Bella! Watching you mature over the years is such a sweet blessing to me!
