We’re so excited to officially introduce one of our newest spaces at Exodus Academy—The Eagle’s Nest, our outdoor sensory garden!

This isn’t just a beautiful place to play. It’s an intentional learning environment where students can explore, create, regulate, and grow through hands-on experiences in nature.

Research shows that sensory gardens can help children:
🌱 Improve focus and attention
🌼 Reduce stress and anxiety
🦋 Build language and social skills
🍃 Support emotional regulation
🌸 Encourage creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning

Whether students are smelling fresh herbs, discovering different textures, observing butterflies and bees, or simply finding a peaceful place to reset, The Eagle’s Nest is designed to meet the needs of the whole child.

At Exodus Academy, we believe some of the best learning happens beyond four walls. Every space on our campus is created with purpose, and we’re thankful for the opportunity to continue building an environment where every child can soar.

Week 3 of camp is going well (week 1/2 were great too, but too busy to take pictures apparently 🤣)

We are on a mission to learn about God’s creation and him as the creator, so today we made volcanoes in the ground and nature bracelets!

Summer camp starts tomorrow!! Registration is still open if you need care this summer- fun activities, academic time/coaching, Bible time, fun day trips, and water days!

They have a fun trading post where kids can earn points for their collections in nature. We love this hands on learning!

It’s so nice having Exodus in a small town. Our neighbors are amazing, and building connections comes naturally. Inman is super supportive of our mission. One day a conversation with pest control led to a wonderful working relationship with Food Lion. Today we picked up gift cards from them for us to use however we need.
