We wrapped up the school year last month with an action-packed Field Day—and what a celebration it was! Our students spent the day racing through obstacle courses, teaming up for relays, showing off their hula hoop skills, playing parachute games, and enjoying bubbles, chalk art, and sunshine with friends. 🏃‍♀️🫧☀️

From start to finish, the day was filled with laughter, teamwork, and joy—the perfect way to end a great year at STEAM Academy! 💙

🐓🌱 Field Trip to Dodge Nature Center – Farm Fun and Hands-On Learning! 🌾🐥

Our students had an unforgettable day at Dodge Nature Center in Cottage Grove, discovering the wonders of farm life!

🪶 Held baby chicks and brave roosters
🌿 Explored the chicken coop and farmyard
👩‍🏫 Learned firsthand about animals and nature

From caring for animals to learning about life on a farm, our students gained a deeper connection to the natural world while making memories together.

🍁 Maple Syrup Magic at Steam Academy! 🍁

Our students had a hands-on experience learning to identify maple trees, tap for sap, and turn it into syrup! From drilling to hammering, they explored the science behind syrup-making and asked great questions.
