Small fixes can prevent bigger problems but sometimes it could have to be a bigger fix. If your outlet move when you plug something in, it may not be secured correctly inside the electrical box.

⚠️ Older electrical panels can be a hidden safety risk.

Some panels—like Federal Pacific (FPE) or systems still tied to k**b & tube wiring—were never designed to handle today’s electrical demands. In many cases, breakers may fail to trip, increasing the risk of overheating or fire.

At St. Croix Electric Inc., we inspect, upgrade, and replace outdated panels to bring homes safely up to modern standards. If your panel looks like these photos or your home is older, it may be time for an evaluation.
