happy 4th birthday to the comeback kid,

and thank you to the release this album gave me, after recreating some of the songs preserved in my head for over a decade after losing them in a hard drive crash. Thankfully they came out way better than I had initially drafted them. I had given up on this project to a point where I threw a lot of things away. I don’t regret it though, because everything turned out to be ok in the end. Without this album, I wouldn’t have had the drive to continue doing the thing I always felt I was meant to do. Thankfully you for all the listeners since the beginning, and to the new ones who’ve come around since 2022

On Open Grave we explore the decay of our own undoing. A dancefloor confession that digs into a narrative of self-sabotage and quiet collapse, it begs to be ignored, as much as it demands to be heard.

along with our new track, we also included a cover of the Nine Inch Nails classic, Last, a perfect thematic compliment. there’s also a reimagined remix of Open Grave by labelmate and friend
