Knitting Connections

Hello everyone I am trying to get this up and running! As many of you know I was a nurse for many yrs and before that I worked EMS many more yrs! My life was giving and helping others till one day I couldn’t anymore I have been disabled for couple years now and want to find a way to give back! I started to teach myself to knit! I made hats for the infusion center I went to for treatment! I made some gloves for the homeless! Then covid hit and I couldn’t do that anymore so I taught myself how to knit more! Once covid calmed down I started making bears! Then the idea hit me! Let’s make bears for people who need a hug or encouraging word! But when on disability I can’t afford a lot of yarn so I wondered how can I do this? Well I thought if I could get people to buy a bear I could take the profit turn around and make a bear for someone else less fortunate! So that what I am and trying to do! I will even take yarn donations and can post pics of what kind I use if you wanna hit your local Walmart and mail me two skeins! But if you buy a bear and I make a bear you can include a encouraging word with the bear even make a pen pal! I hope to send bears to hospitals,local rescue squads,homeless shelters, and maybe victims of house fires! Or if you know someone who needs a bear hug! Now the price you say….if you buy a bear 20.00….I make a bear to donate that two bears! If I have to ship your bear I will have to charge additional for shipping! Also if you can’t donate a share or like or encouragement is huge and appreciated! Also if you know some I can’t contact about getting our bears in the places they need to go please let me know! I will add more pics and more bears ASAP!
