Drip Ninjas
Our mission is simple, we respond fast, work smart, and restore with precision; providing peace of mind.
Restoration begins with triage.
Just like in a medical emergency, triage is about stabilizing the situation, preventing further damage, and protecting what can still be saved. The goal is not to rebuild the home on day one. The goal is to stop the loss from getting worse.
After a water loss, fire, sewage backup, or mold concern, every hour matters. Materials continue to absorb moisture. Humidity migrates to unaffected areas. Microbial growth can begin. Odors become more difficult to remove. Structural components may deteriorate. What could have been a relatively simple drying project can quickly become a much larger restoration project.
Yet many homeowners elect to wait.
Why?
• They’re waiting for the insurance adjuster to inspect.
• They’re worried about the cost.
• They don’t want equipment in their home.
• They assume the damage isn’t getting worse.
• They’re overwhelmed and unsure of what to do next.
• They’ve never experienced a loss before and don’t understand the urgency.
These concerns are understandable.
The challenge is that water, smoke, and contamination don’t pause while decisions are being made.
The homeowners who typically experience the best outcomes are those who focus first on stabilization. They understand that triage is not the same as committing to a full restoration project. It is simply taking reasonable steps to protect the property and limit additional damage while the claim, estimate, or next steps are being determined.
At Drip Ninjas, we often tell customers:
You don’t have to know exactly how the story ends, but you do need to stop the situation from getting worse.
Whether it’s a pipe burst, roof leak, sewage backup, or fire loss, immediate action can often mean the difference between drying and demolition, cleaning and replacement, or a minor inconvenience and a major disruption.
The restoration process starts long before reconstruction begins. It starts with triage.

In today’s episode of “What Are Those Ninjas Up To?”
You know it’s been one of those days when you finish loading equipment, answer three phone calls, schedule two inspections, coordinate a crew, and then hop in the van…
…only to realize your hard hat is riding shotgun.
Or worse.
It’s riding on the hood of the van as you drive off. 😳
Thankfully this ninja’s construction helmet decided to hold on for dear life and make the trip with us.
The lesson? Before you leave the job site:
✅ Check your equipment
✅ Check your paperwork
✅ Check your coffee
✅ And apparently… check your hood
No helmets were harmed in the making of this post, but our pride may have taken a minor hit.
At Drip Ninjas, we may not be perfect, but we do know how to laugh at ourselves and keep moving forward.

💀 The Glamorous Side of Restoration… Said No One Ever 💀
Today’s episode of “What Are Those Ninjas Up To?”
The ladies conquered today….with Toni, Helen and Shannon….
While most people are enjoying the air conditioning this summer, our team was crawling through a sewage-contaminated crawlspace wearing full PPE, respirators, haz suits, gloves, and boots.
The conditions?
☠️ Sewage-contaminated water
🪰 Flies everywhere
🐛 Maggots doing what maggots do
🔥 South Carolina summer heat
😷 Less-than-pleasant odors
🕷️ A few creepy crawlers that didn’t appreciate the interruption
This is the side of restoration most people never see.
When a sewer line fails beneath a home, it’s not just dirty water. It can contain bacteria, viruses, parasites, and other contaminants that can create serious health concerns if not properly addressed. That’s why proper containment, PPE, cleaning, disinfection, and restoration protocols matter.
It’s not glamorous.
It’s not fun.
It’s definitely not Instagram-worthy.
But when families need help, somebody has to crawl under there and make it safe again.
Today, that somebody was the ninjas.
A huge shoutout to our “female” kick a$$ team members who willingly suited up, crawled into places most people wont go, and did the hard work necessary to protect homes and families.
At Drip Ninjas, we don’t just dry buildings—we tackle the messes nobody else wants.

Mastering the Art of Dry… even when it means battling maggots in a crawlspace in June!
When jobs are done and done right, it’s easy…but the true test of character is how you show up when things don’t go as planned and mistakes happen. Who are you, when things go wrong? Are you the guy that runs, makes excuses and/or disappears….or are you the one that picks up the phone, listens and is accountable. Those we choose to work with are the ones who will be there when things go well, but more importantly, when things don’t. They will go out of their way to make it right because its the right thing to do!
That is integrity and that is worth more to us than anything.
“In a world where everyone is looking for the cheapest price, the fastest turnaround, or the easiest answer, there’s something that still matters more than anything else:
Character.
The best contractors I know aren’t perfect. Sometimes materials fail. Sometimes things happen that nobody could have predicted. Sometimes customers have concerns that turn out to be related to our work, and sometimes they don’t.
But ethical contractors do something important—they answer the phone.
They show up.
They investigate.
They listen.
And if the issue is theirs, they make it right.
Not because they’re forced to. Not because of a bad review. Not because they’re worried about social media.
Because it’s the right thing to do.
Unfortunately, there are also contractors who disappear the moment the check clears. They don’t return calls. They blame everyone else. They avoid responsibility. And every time that happens, it doesn’t just damage their reputation—it damages trust in our entire industry.
It makes homeowners skeptical.
It makes referral partners hesitant.
It makes honest contractors spend valuable time rebuilding confidence that someone else destroyed.
Relationships are built one job at a time, but they’re sustained long after the work is complete.
The true test of a contractor isn’t how they perform when everything goes right.
It’s how they respond when a customer calls back.
Stand behind your work. Protect your reputation. Honor your referrals.
Because trust is hard to earn and easy to lose.

Today’s crawlspace inspection identifies far more issues than the one we were called in for….questions such as “why didn't the others ever mention any of these issues?”…🤷♀️, unfortunately those are questions that I cant answer….Unfortunately this happens fairly frequently and often makes a hard conversation even harder.

Did you know traditional testing methods for mold
/fungi only captures about 5% and air quality tests vary significantly depending on time of day and environmental conditions….if you are looking for more reliable testing with reproducible results using a testing system that follows the International standards and is recognized by the EPA and is the preferred method used by the Department of Defense, contact us for more information…

Do you know who you use when you have a catastrophic water loss matters….you have a choice. Never let your carrier or others dictate who works in your home or business. Too often, I see owners feeling forced or coerced to use someone they are not comfortable with just because they were told or felt they had to. You have rights. You have a choice. Do not give them up when it matters most!

One of the most dangerous phrases in property damage is:
“Everything looks dry.”
Because looks can be deceiving.
Behind walls, under floors, inside insulation, around framing, and deep inside assemblies… moisture can hide long after surfaces appear normal to the eye.
That’s why technology matters.
Thermal imaging helps us identify temperature anomalies that may suggest hidden moisture migration. Moisture meters help confirm whether materials are actually wet or dry. Documentation helps create a roadmap instead of guessing.
Without the right tools, you’re often making decisions based on appearance alone.
And in restoration, appearances can cost property owners thousands later in microbial growth, odor, deterioration, or secondary damage.
This image is a perfect example.
To the naked eye? Maybe nothing jumps out.
But technology tells a very different story.
Good restoration isn’t just about tearing things out or setting equipment.
It’s about understanding building science, moisture behavior, and using the right technology to see what the eye cannot.
Because “it looks dry” and “it is dry” are two very different things.
