This weekend I'm headed to Suffern, New York, and I couldn't be more excited to cheer on the incredible women competing for the titles of Miss New York and Miss New York's Teen!
One of my favorite parts of pageantry isn't just the crowns—it's watching young women step outside their comfort zones, share their stories, showcase their talents, and grow in confidence. Every contestant has already accomplished something worth celebrating simply by taking the stage.
I can't wait to reconnect with friends, make some new ones, and spend the weekend supporting the next generation of leaders and changemakers.
Good luck to each and every contestant! Shine bright, enjoy every moment, and remember—you've already made your communities proud. 💙✨
Yesterday was our dating anniversary. ❤️
It wasn't fancy or full of big plans... and somehow, it ended up being just about perfect.
The day started with cleaning up, heading to work, and getting everything ready for today's middle school trip. Then I came home... and the power went out.
So instead of screens, TV, or our usual routine, we found ourselves sitting on the front porch, talking, laughing, and simply enjoying each other's company in the quiet.
Sometimes the best memories aren't the ones you plan—they're the ones that remind you to slow down and appreciate the person sitting beside you.
Here's to another year of choosing each other, in the big moments and the unexpected ones. ❤️
