Congratulations Sonya, winner of the Broadcom Coding with Commitment® award at Reading-Berks Science and Engineering Fair!

Her project "Dr. Serenity Marigold - Your Custom AI Therapist" offers an online AI alternative to traditional therapy with user safety built in using programming. Her project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #3: Good Health and Well-Being.

Sonya said, "Coding helped me with this entire project including many different types of code. My project contains JSON requests to connect the AI and I used PHP to make a custom plug-in inside my word press website."

Broadcom Coding with Commitment® provides a catalyst for students to learn basic coding and AI as essential problem-solving tools in STEM. It fosters active civic engagement by "thinking globally while acting locally."
