Tip of the Day: breathe through the pain. When difficult things happen to us or around us we can find ourselves holding our breath in anticipation of what’s to come. We’re going through the motions, but also “waiting for the other shoe to drop” at the same time. We know something is coming so we brace ourselves for it.

But what we don’t realize is that by holding our breath through the pain, we are causing more tension in our bodies. We are lengthening the healing process by not submitting to it.

So today… yield and breathe. You can do it. One breath at a time.
