Last night, firefighters in Santa Ana were able to save an apartment complex from going up in flames.

When crews arrived, two cypress trees burning directly next to the building were completely engulfed in flames and just seconds away from extending into the apartment complex.

Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire, stopping it before it could spread to the building and protecting the homes of those inside.
