Things to remember when an accident occurs:

-Make sure that no one is hurt and medical assistance is not needed

-If the accident is small pull the vehicles over to a safe location and turn on hazard lights

-Take notes regarding the accident, include specific notes and pictures of damages, as well as, the other driver's information that was involved in the accident.

-Double check that you have the necessary information such as the license plate, the vehicle identification number, etc.
