DFW Practice Crits

Tomorrow is the first edition of the DFW Practice Crit! RSVP with the poll in the comments section so we how many people are attending!

This is an unsanctioned event on open roads. There is no medical or SAG support provided to riders. Obey all traffic laws and ride at your own risk! Think of this as a fast group ride and not an official race.

Here are the Details:

🗓️: Thursday, May 22nd
🚲: 6:00 PM - C Race (30min)
🚲: 6:30 PM - B Race (30 min)
🚲: 7:05 PM - A Race (45 min)
🎟️: Free
⚠️: Open Roads - Obey All Traffic Laws
📍: Start/Finish Line @ 2475 Esters Blvd, Grapevine, TX 76051
🔁: 1 Lap = 1.63 Miles (clockwise)
🚗: Park at Founder’s Plaza (1700 N Airfield Dr, Grapevine, TX 76051). All parking around the course is private warehouse lots so we don’t advise parking there. Preferably you’ll ride to the course instead of driving!
🚩: In an abundance of caution, it would be nice to have 1 flagger for the first turn. If you’d like to volunteer, please comment below!
🏁: Start/Finish will be marked with red chalk. Remember, this is an unsanctioned race so there is no official timing.

There will be 3 different courses that we can cycle through (no pun intended) so it’s not the same course every time. For safety so we’re not crossing over lanes, all courses will be ran clockwise. This is a practice crit on open roads. This is an unsanctioned event, not a formally organized race. Ride at your own risk!
