Keywords are "search terms" or "words" that people type on google. There are two types of keywords:

➡️ Branded Keywords: any word that has your brand's name on it.

➡️ Unbranded keywords: These are generic words that people may be typing on google to find a business or service that offers what you offer.

Both approaches are good, and the best strategy includes a combination of both. However, we do not recommend having ONLY one or the other, especially when getting started.

Think about this:

✅ If you want people to know who you are, focus on unbranded keywords (words that people would type to find you without knowing you are the business that could solve their problem).

✅ If you want to focus on brand recognition, especially while trying to take on a giant competitor, focus on branded keywords.
