Over the past year, I’ve had the incredible honor of serving as the artist-in-residence at Cliff Temple Baptist Church. This Sunday is my (Rebecca Phillips Prince) capstone reception. I invite you to join me in celebrating as this opportunity comes to a close, but opens the door to new possibilities.

There will be a special unveiling of a painting I created specifically for Cliff Temple. I am excited to finally be able to share it!

The day has finally arrived! I installed 13 paintings from my "Through the Mist" series.

The exhibition dates are October 1-30. The gallery hours are:
Mon.-Thurs. 5:30 am - 10:00 pm
Fri. 5:30 am - 9:00 pm
Sat. 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Sun. 1:00-5:00 pm

If you've been following my journey for a while you might know that I started painting portraits after a trip to Uganda with International in 2016. I was inspired to paint 13 of the children we met while there in hopes of bringing awareness to the need for more children to be sponsored.

Over the years, I've had several exhibitions to showcase these paintings, but they all came to a halt in 2020. However, the exciting news is... I am exhibiting 11 of the portraits at Cliff Temple Baptist Church Church (134 W. 10th St., Dallas, TX) May 1 through 27, 2024. Additionally, there will be a reception this Sunday, May 5, at 12:00 p.m. and I would love to see you if you're in the area and can make it. I'm so excited to have this opportunity!

If you have any questions about sponsoring a child let me know. I'm happy to talk with you. The last few years have been hard on those living in poverty around the world and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Something exciting is around the corner…

As a full-time artist, talking about my art is vital. As an introvert, it can make me uncomfortable. Fortunately, I am working on both this year.

Special shoutout to Robert Prince who was better at taking behind-the-scene photos than I was. Glad to have him right by my side throughout this adventure.
