🎉 We have more special team recognition to share!
👏 Congratulations to Elsa Gonzalez, the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas Employee of the Month for June!
🍽️ As one of our Banquet Captains, Elsa consistently delivers exceptional customer service and is always willing to lend a hand wherever she's needed. Her positive attitude, warm smile, and dedication to both coworkers and clients make her an invaluable member of our team.
💙 In June, Elsa's outstanding service earned praise directly from our clients. During the Electronic Security Expo, organizers repeatedly recognized Elsa and her team for being so helpful and kind throughout the event.
⭐ Another client from Pri-Med was so impressed that they told our staff they wished they could take Elsa with them to every venue they visit. That's quite a compliment!
🙌 Elsa's commitment to creating a positive experience for everyone she meets truly sets her apart. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, Elsa!

🌟 Extra special recognition for an extra special accomplishment!
👏 At this week’s Irving Convention and Visitors Bureau Board of Directors meeting, Chair Sam Reed and City Manager Chris Hillman honored Susan Rose for THIRTY-FIVE YEARS of service with the City of Irving.
💐 Her husband, Joel, and daughter, Allison, made a surprise appearance and presented her with her favorite flowers.
📊 Susan now serves as Visit Irving’s Vice President of Finance and Administration, bringing decades of valuable experience and knowledge to the role.
🏛️ During her career, Susan has served in several City of Irving, Texas - City Hall departments, including the Library (where she shelved books during the summers while in college), Fleet Maintenance, Purchasing, Capital Improvement, Community Outreach, Business and Civic Affairs, the City Manager’s Office, Communications—and now Visit Irving, Texas.
❤️ Susan says she wholeheartedly believes each stop along her journey prepared her for her role at Visit Irving. She also likes to remind her colleagues that she has no plans to add any more city departments to her résumé—because this is her final stop!
