Breaking news!

On June 20th, Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed into law H.B. 27, which will require all students, beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, to take a stand-alone, ½ credit of personal finance in order to graduate high school. According to NexGenPersonalFinance, this makes Texas the 29th state to incorporate personal finance into their graduation requirements!
