I’ve talked about all of the worthless and even damaging supplements that don’t contain the things they have on the label. I get questions every day about which brands can we trust.I have a list of the brands that are ethical and have the proof of the science behind them. There are several nutrients that are important to supplement and I will go over one of them each day. You don’t want to take unnecessary supplements because you tax your kidneys and liver so it’s important to narrow it down to the ones that your body really needs.

Most fish oil supplements are inferior and reflux on patients. We need anti-inflammatory Omega-3s to counter all in inflammatory Omega-6s (another essential fatty acid that your body doesn’t produce) that is loaded in all of your processed “fake” foods. Inflammation is the ROOT cause of many of today’s chronic diseases. If you love not, it’s important to supplement with omega-3‘s because nuts are higher in the omega 6’s.

My personal favorite brand for fish oil is Xymogen.

As far as the Omega-3s.... 1500mg, 1600mg, 24,000,000mg isn’t the important number. The important numbers are the EPA and DHA. In nature, there is about 2:1 ratio, meaning for every 1mg of DHA there should be 2mg of EPA. I can go into why that’s important but most people wouldn’t want the science behind it.
