Innā lillāhi wa innā ilayhi rājiʿūn.

It is with an unbelievably heavy heart that we share the tragic passing of our beloved young man, Ayman Hassoun in a motorcycle accident.

Ayman was the type of person whose presence brought positivity wherever he went. He always carried a smile. He was always respectful, polite, humble, and full of good character. No matter the environment, he treated people with kindness and sincerity. “When he joined our volleyball league, he immediately became part of the brotherhood. He even brought his friends into the community, helping strengthen the bonds between teammates who quickly became like family.” From the words of br Zeeshan Hafeez.

To know Ayman was to love him. When he came to the masjid he brought friends with him, Muslims and sometimes non Muslims.
As a community, and as a family at , we mourn a loss that words cannot fully capture. It is difficult to comprehend.

Our hearts ache especially for his mother and for his father, our dear brother Tarek, who has long been one of the quiet protectors of our community in the security team and a dedicated guardian of our masjid. For years, he has helped keep Valley Ranch Islamic Center safe and served the community with sincerity and strength. Tonight, our prayers are with him and the entire Hassoun family. Janazah information will be posted later as we receive it inshaAllah.
May Allah give his mom and dad and his entire family a beautiful patience.
