π Good Morning from NTS! Happy Monday! π
It's a brand-new week, and today we're celebrating National Upsy Daisy Day and National Best Friends Day! πΌπ
National Upsy Daisy Day encourages us to get up, greet the day with optimism, and start the week with a positive outlook. Mondays can be tough, but sometimes all it takes is the right attitude to turn a busy day into a great one.
We're also recognizing National Best Friends Dayβa perfect reminder to appreciate the people who support, encourage, and stand beside us through life's journey. Whether it's a lifelong friend, your spouse, a family member, or someone who's always there when you need them, today is a great day to let them know they're appreciated.
At NTS, we know that having good people in your corner can make all the difference. We are grateful for the friendships we've built with our customers, employees, and community over the years.
πΌ Start the week with a smile.
π Check in on a friend.
π Keep moving forward toward your goals.

Conflict is a normal part of life, but having the right tools can make all the difference. π
Skills like staying calm, communicating clearly, compromising, and setting healthy boundaries can help individuals navigate challenges and build stronger relationships with family, friends, coworkers, and others.
We're always grateful to see organizations providing free, accessible resources that help individuals with Down syndrome develop important life and social skills that support greater independence and self-advocacy.
Conflicts inevitably arise from time to time in our relationships with friends, family members, romantic partners, colleagues, and other people in our lives. There are several skills that are helpful for managing conflicts successfully. They include:
π calming down
π¬ communicating in a clear and respectful manner
π€ compromising
π setting boundaries
Our online library has several resources to help individuals with Down syndrome learn about and develop skills for managing conflicts. They are available for free at the link below!
