X-Men visited the State Fair of Texas back in 1983. This was a fully-licensed X-Men comic book story that was created by the Dallas Times Herald newspaper for the purpose of selling local advertising and contains an X-Men comic book story with some of the pages given over to local advertisements, like one for an appliance store. This one ended with Magneto being defeated by the giant boot of Big Tex himself.
