This weekend, our 2026 Beginner Mountaineering Team summited Mount Adams after months of training, preparation, and perseverance!
Since February, this team has been putting in the work—learning new skills, building confidence, and proving to themselves that they are capable of more than they ever imagined. This climb wasn't easy. High winds, tired legs, self-doubt, and plenty of mental battles tested everyone along the way. But just like recovery, they kept moving forward... one step at a time💙
Reaching the summit wasn't just about climbing a mountain. It was about discovering what's possible when you trust the process, lean on your team, and refuse to give up.
Congratulations to every member of the 2026 Beginner Mountaineering Team on this incredible accomplishment. We couldn't be more proud of each of you!
A huge thank you to Scott Brown for once again leading this team with patience, encouragement, and expertise. We are incredibly fortunate to have a leader who invests so much time and heart into helping our members achieve goals they never thought possible.
We're also grateful to Dave Stringer for volunteering alongside Scott and helping guide the team safely to the summit. It truly takes a team, and we appreciate everything you both do to make these life-changing experiences possible.
The mountain may have challenged them, but it also reminded them of something we believe every day: We do recover!!!
📸 Special shoutout to Amity Hoos & Auria Lee for capturing the incredible photo in slide #2! It was so great meeting you on the mountain, and we're grateful you shared such an unforgettable moment with us!
