AccuWeather, which released its predictions on Oct. 2, is the latest entity to take a stab at forecasting the winter.

AccuWeather, NOAA, and The Farmer's Almanac outlooks all suggest that the northern tier — especially the Great Lakes, Northeast, and Pacific Northwest — will see above-normal storm activity, particularly in the form of snow.
