Our summer photo contest has come to an end. 🎉 Let’s give a warm round of ap-paws 🐾 for Hallie! She’s our featured pet for ; a happy-go-lucky bundle of fluff whom loves adventures with her little brother, Jake, and their family. Hallie is a fabulous patient of ours and believe it or not, her snuggles could probably bring about world peace. She also has one of the best smiles, donchu agree?

From the CDC website: "Nearly 1 in 5 people bitten by a dog requires medical attention & children are twice as likely to get bitten than an adult. Even the friendliest dog can bite. Dog bites can cause pain & injury, but they can also spread germs that cause infection." National Dog Bite Prevention Week takes place during the second full week of April each year.

Cutting your dog's or cat's nails can be intimidating - be sure that you follow these instructions &if you have a squirmer on your hands, you can always bring them into our hospital & have a skilled technician do it (we may even be able to demonstrate some of our tricks for you).
