I don't write much about astrology (which I used to), though I still pay regular attention to what's happening in the sky. And sometimes, something still sneaks in and makes me chuckle because I didn't anticipate it and it makes such perfect sense.

Case in point: last week I wrote about the Baba Yaga, one of my favorite witches, who lived deep in the forest in a cottage on chicken legs and rode around in a mortar and pestle helping and smiting as she saw fit.

Then this morning I found out that Black Moon Lilith is heavily connected to this week's eclipse in Libra, because OF COURSE. Lilith was the first woman, but sent herself into exile when Adam refused to acknowledge her as his equal and instead insisted her role was to be dominated.

Asteroid Lilith is exactly conjunct my Mid-Heaven, the place that the Universe set for me at the table of the world. Lilith and I are deeply intertwined, for good or ill.

Lilith and the Baba Yaga are also deeply intertwined. So, here we are, a triumverate of fierce, uncompromising women.
