Somatic voice & embodiment for women reclaiming self-trust. Helping women soften their armor, reconnect with their inner authority, and speak from deeper truth.

Vigilance isn't a flaw.

It's what a nervous system does when it loves you (which it does. always).

For most q***r folks, that tracking runs constantly in the background — reading rooms, calculating risk, managing how much of yourself is okay to show right now.
It's not paranoia. It's not anxiety.

It's the body doing its job. Doing it well. Doing it without a break.
And that costs something.

The part that doesn't get talked about enough: feeling safe isn't just about being safe. There's a gap between the two — and a lot of us live in that gap.

Somatic practice is one of the few things I know that actually starts to close it. Not by bypassing the vigilance. By giving the nervous system something else to organize around.

✨ Try this right now:
Sit wherever you are. Don't fix your posture — just notice it.

On your next inhale, let your chest rise just slightly. On your exhale, let everything release without pushing.

Two or three times.

Then add: let your head float gently upward with the inhale — like the breath is lifting you. Let it settle back on the exhale.

Pause. Notice what's different, even just slightly. ✨

That's your nervous system learning that movement is available. That expansion is possible. That the body doesn't have to stay braced.

This is exactly the work we do in Elusive Safety — a drop-in somatic class that centers q***r bodies, q***r experience, and q***r culture.

Not as a footnote. As the whole point.

Next class: Wednesday, June 24th at 1:00pm.

We are carrying a lot right now.

Not metaphorically. In our bodies. In our nervous systems. In the way we brace before we open the news, the way we hold our breath in certain rooms, the way exhaustion has started to feel like a baseline instead of a signal.

Q***r joy is not the reward we get when the fight is over. It is the fuel that keeps us in it.

That's why Elusive Safety exists.

It's a monthly drop-in somatic class centered in q***r culture and experience — for the whole alphabet mafia, and for allies who are ready to show up with genuine solidarity and humility. Each class is 45 minutes of gentle, awareness-based movement rooted in the Feldenkrais Method, followed by 15 minutes of community connection time. No performance required. Nothing to get right.
Just your body. Your people. An hour to put it down.

First class: Wednesday, June 24th at 1pm EST / 10am PT.
Sliding scale $20 / $35 / $55 same full experience at every tier.

Your emotional patterns don't just live in your mind.

They live in the way your jaw tightens before a hard conversation.

In the breath you hold when someone asks too much of you.

In the shoulders that round forward when you shrink.

These aren't just stress responses.

They're habits. Deeply grooved, well-practiced, often decades old.

And here's what most people miss:

Because they're physical habits, they can be worked with physically.

Not through force. Not through willpower. Through awareness. Through curiosity. Through the kind of gentle, precise attention that lets your nervous system discover — on its own terms — that something else is possible.

This is the foundation of everything I do.

Your body already holds the wisdom. My job is to help you access it.

I'm Sharon — somatic voice and embodiment practitioner with 25 years in vocal pedagogy and 20 years as a Guild Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner. This is the work.
