Be consistent. ...
Make sure your bedroom is quiet, dark, relaxing, and at a comfortable temperature.
Remove electronic devices, such as TVs, computers, and smart phones, from the bedroom.
Avoid large meals, caffeine, and alcohol before bedtime.
Get some exercise.

Teaching self care is probably the most important part of my job. I like to get patients started with simple stretches. This position is one of my favorites. It is very effective in stabilizing high blood pressure, normalizing thyroid function and very good if you just want to relax after a difficult working day. Feel free to copy and distribute. Namaste.
