Give to Cornell Outdoor Education (COE) in #CornellGivingDay! | Cornell Giving Day 2022 03/15/2022

Cornell Giving Day is tomorrow!! COE is lucky to be able to receive a $10,000 donation from Jon Lindseth if we get to 207 individual donors of any amount, and donations can be specifically intended for Odyssey! COE has to come up with 96% of its own funding as it only receives 4% of its budget from Cornell, so support on giving day means a lot to us!

Give to Cornell Outdoor Education (COE) in #CornellGivingDay! | Cornell Giving Day 2022 I’m ready to support Cornell Outdoor Education (COE) on March 16, 2022 during Cornell Giving Day 2022. Learn more about Cornell Outdoor Education (COE)

Hello OO fam. It's time for another Human of Odyssey.... the excellent Emma Harte

Hey friends! I’m Emma and this is my second year as an Outdoor Odyssey guide. I’m in the College of Arts & Sciences studying Biological Sciences with a concentration in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and minors in Climate Change and Spanish. Outside of Odyssey, I’m involved in Cornell Running Club, Cornell Outdoor Education (where I teach hiking and snowshoeing classes), and research in an entomology lab. I love trail running, backpacking, paddling, and reading books while lying in my hammock.
I went on the 4 Day Backpacking in the Finger Lakes trip before my first year at Cornell and I loved it! It was lots of fun and a great way to get to know other students before orientation. My guides were able to give us advice about life at Cornell, and talking to the other students on my trip made me realize that other people shared my fears about college. I would highly recommend participating in Outdoor Odyssey - it’s the best way to start your Cornell experience, in my (slightly biased) opinion!

Take Emma's advice. Register today: https://odyssey.coe.cornell.edu/register
