Learn about the Alternative Investments industry with professionals from Oaktree Capital on a virtual 2-hour learning session. Oaktree CEO, Jay Wintrob, will kick off the event with Q&A followed by investment professionals talking through case studies of investments from a variety of alternative investment strategies. Hear from professionals (including Cornell alums) across investment teams. The session will end with Q&A about recruiting and internships with analysts and associates. The Smart Woman Securities (SWS) Cornell Chapter is proud to present a Virtual Trek with Oaktree Capital Management, and we are excited to partner with the Society of Women in Business (SWIB) and Forte to host this event. The event will be held on Friday, October 23rd, 2020 from 3-5 PM EDT.

The event will be kicked off by an introduction and Q&A from Howard Marks, the co-founder and co-chairman of Oaktree Capital. The other sessions will include Introduction to Investment Management and Different Career Pathways Post College, The Recruitment Cycle and Preparing for Interviews and Case Studies, and Q&A with a panel of women.
