Please be aware that all of our Quipt Home Medical locations in West Tennessee and North Mississippi will this weekend experience a severe ice storm that will likely disrupt telephone, internet and power to each of our locations. Telephone calls will route to our answering service, which will then route calls to our staff, assuming that cell phone service is operational. However, roads are forecasted to become impassible, so our ability to drive and service needs in the field will also be restricted at some point during the weekend. As with any medical emergency, if you find yourself in distress, please dial 911. Our stores will open when power is restored and our drivers will get on the road when they become safe. If you need to, please find a warming center in your community where you can plug in equipment and stay warm.

We have been assisting patients to prepare all week. Please have an emergency plan in place for a prolonged power outage. Please, please plan accordingly.
