Why? Because the impact goes beyond the build.
Right now, we’re working on a 1,000-square-foot educational facility with a view that’s hard to describe.

Imagine being a kid…
Looking out the window…
And feeling like you’re in the clouds.

That’s the kind of environment being created here.

What’s your favorite type of project to work on?

Elevation off?

A survey done incorrectly?

Yep, this was what we found when we stepped into a project.

And this wasn’t just any property… it was a school campus.

At the back of the campus, there was a slope, and this slope went down pretty far which needed to be documented in the survey.

In fact, there was a bust in the survey that was a foot and a half off.

So, the client contacted us and we were able to fix the sanitary sewer system for them so that the campus was safe for all of the students who would be attending.

And to be honest? We never mind when clients call us for this. We love to help!

If you have a public business or are a state/local government building, then there’s something that you most likely need to have:

An ADA ramp.

At Clearpoint Services, we survey and certify these.

The construction layout needs to be accurate as well as the correct permits in place so that you ensure you are in compliance.

If there is a change in elevation (stairs, raised entry, etc) then you need to have an ADA ramp and we can help you make that happen.

Why did I get started in land surveying?

Because, from a young age, I loved maps.

And recently, we had a project in Lakewood, NJ that involved maps created in the 1800s.

When we looked at the maps, they needed to be modernized so they related to the conditions as they are today instead of what they were in the past.

For instance, the maps had:
New lots not included
Streets that were never developed
Buildings that should be included but weren’t

So, those maps were not relevant and were much harder to duplicate today.

If you have an older lot or community, make sure your maps are updated to reflect what it looks like today.
