Airport Rd. Resurfacing Project

Blackman Charter Township, MI – The Jackson County Department of Transportation (JCDOT) would like to inform the public of upcoming lane closures on Airport Rd. between Argyle St. and County Farm Rd. Construction is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 13, 2026, and is anticipated to be completed by November 15, 2026.

During construction, Airport Rd. will remain open to through traffic; however, motorists should expect intermittent lane closures, delays, and occasional temporary closures as work progresses. Access to all businesses in the project area will be maintained throughout construction.

No posted detour routes will be provided. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, seek alternate routes when possible, and allow extra travel time.
