Just walking out of the thester from taking my daughter ti see “Michael”. Go to the movie theater and celebrate the culture and the brilliance of the world’s greatest performer- Michael Jackson!!! Go to the theater and celebrate him in community! Sing along, clap, dance in the isles, together!!! We need this moment at this time!!!! You won’t regret it!!!

Town Hall Community Engagement Meeting

On July 20, 2024, AEL Brother David Peyton participated in a Town Hall Community Engagement Meeting sponsored jointly by the Bethel, Ebenezer, Lintonia, and Oak Grove A. M. E. Churches discussing strategies to encourage the community to vote in the upcoming election. The meeting took place at Oak Grove A. M. E. Church, Benton, MS. Brother Peyton had an opportunity to speak from a personal experience on the importance of voting and serving as a Yazoo County Supervisor. Other individuals also shared compelling thoughts on the importance of voting and how to help mobile the community for voting.
