ESL at CWC-Jackson

Register for English as a Second Language classes at CWC! January 25-29 & Feb. 1-5

Email us your completed paperwork or drop it off at our CWC office. An instructor will contact you to complete your enrollment.

Now accepting applications for VIRTUAL LANGUAGE EXCHANGE PARTNERS!! You must have high-beginner (ESL 2-4) language skills to apply.

How does Language Exchange JH work?
(1) On LanguageExchangeJH.org, you will watch two videos, read frequently asked questions, and complete an application for a virtual language exchange partner.

(2) You will receive an email from us requesting an audio recording in your learning language to verify your high-beginner to advanced language skill level.

(3) Once we find a partner for you based upon language level, age, availability and interests, we will contact you to arrange a date and time for your one-hour training on Zoom.

(4) You will meet your virtual partner once a week on Whatsapp, for one hour. You and your partner determine your schedule. Within that hour, you will practice conversational skills in one language for 30 minutes, and then switch to the other language for the remaining 30 minutes.
