We explored five practical strategies to strengthen your leadership capacity:
1. Mindfulness and intentional pause (breath, on purpose)
2. Setting and protecting boundaries (Do Not Disturb, Calendar, Email)
3. Practicing gratitude with purpose (Write the 'thank you' note.)
4. Prioritizing physical movement (Let's walk!)
5. Choosing joy and laughter, on purpose (be intentional about laughter)

A culture of compliance rarely leads to sustained growth or achievement. Compliance may maintain systems, but it does not accelerate learning.
In January 2026, I spent 75% of my time in classrooms and principals’ offices across three school districts. One clear pattern emerged: schools grounded in intentional coaching and collaboration are demonstrating consistent increases in achievement and growth across multiple measures. Key artifacts that signal intentionality include the master schedule, the principal's schedule, and PLC agendas.
The Acceleration Coach partners with schools to intentionally build cultures where students, teachers, and leaders can grow together.
