Tomorrow, November 11th🇺🇸, Chef Quentin will be passing out samples of candied sweet potatoes to the students of Jackson High and Pathways. The candied sweet potatoes are part of our Harvest of the Month which also includes pumpkins and sage. We hope you enjoy this delicious treat☺️🧡🖤.

This past week JPS celebrated Michigan Apple Crunch throughout the district🍎🍏☺️. The students at Dibble Elementary enjoyed Granny Smith, Gala, and Red Delicious apples that were locally grown at Gee Farms in Stockbridge, MI.

We will be celebrating Michigan Apple Crunch Day at JPS tomorrow, October 14th, across the district. Apple Crunch Day is a way to highlight the importance of healthy eating and encourages us to support local agriculture through farm to school programs. Our apples were purchased from Gee Farms in Stockbridge. Take a look at some of the facts below about apples and we hope you enjoy the “crunch” of fall!
