She is committed to keeping the Annual Drug Summit and quarterly meetings in place in a community effort to educate the public and help those suffering from substance use disorder.

The Jackson Community Foundation (JCF) is celebrating 75 years of people coming together and investing in our community with a $75,000 Community Choice Grant Round! In collaboration with Henry Ford Jackson Hospital’s Health Improvement Organization, the Consumers Energy Foundation Endowment Fund, the African American Community Endowment Fund, and JCF’s Community Needs Fund, we will be awarding 10 charitable organizations in Jackson County a check for $7,500 each!

“There are so many wonderful organizations working to make Jackson County an even better place to live and work,” said Monica Moser, JCF President & CEO. “We like to say that community isn’t just in our name but is the foundation of what we do. We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with a grant round for the community in which the community has an opportunity to voice which proposals are most meaningful to them.”

Jackson County’s charitable organizations have answered our call with 29 proposals! Now it’s the Community’s turn to choose their top FIVE candidates. We will be announcing our recipients at the Michigan Theatre on December 14th. The event is open to the public with doors open at 4:30PM and grant announcements at 5:00PM.
