Attention Lenawee County residents and Community Partners:

After three years of serving families throughout our community, the Prenatal Passport Program officially concluded on June 3, 2026, due to changes in grant funding and staffing capacity. ** IMPORTANT: The WIC program at Community Action Agency continues to operate as normal. This announcement only relates to the Prenatal Passport program. **

We are incredibly proud of the partnerships, connections, and support the program provided to expecting families during its operation. Through collaboration with many community organizations and providers, the Prenatal Passport encouraged families to engage with valuable prenatal, health, and family resources across our region.

For our participating Community Partners, please ensure that all staff have discontinued providing passport stamps and that any remaining Prenatal Passport promotional materials, including QR code sheets, flyers, and other program information, are removed from circulation and discarded.

Tell your money what to do and make it work for you! We offer NO-COST financial empowerment workshops every Thursday morning at Share the Warmth of Lenawee. EVERYONE is welcome to attend! We're proud to be one of the community organizations supporting Rx Kids. The results of this project in other locations have shown to decrease housing instability, food instability and increases in the number of healthy babies born.

We're so excited that the City of Jackson and Blackman Charter Township are one of 20 selected communities that will be launching Rx Kids On June 1, 2026! Rx Kids is the nation’s first-ever, community-wide maternal and infant cash prescription program supporting healthier pregnancies and stronger starts for babies!
