Taking cattle over Teton Pass 1950s. Of all the old photos I have come across this one has to be my favorite. In this photo they are driving yearling cattle over the pass to put them on the train in Victor ID. In these years the train was the only way to get the valleys cattle to market. When I see photos like this I can’t help but think that the days must have been longer back then and the men resolute.

Hereford cattle paved the west - it’s hard to find a historical ranch that was not filled with red and white cattle at one point. We are always grateful for our healthy herd of bald faces.

Friday was a very proud day for the ranch. For the first time we had a couple steers in the 4-H show and we even took home a buckle. Pictured here is Wade and his reserve champion steer.
