For decades, he has brought these stories of all scales to screens and hearts across the world. The filmmakers behind the Jackson Wild Media Award-winning ‘Ocean with David Attenborough’ said it best: “Quite simply, he is one of the greatest storytellers of our time.”

A Jackson Wild Legacy Award honoree in 1999 and continuing presence in our circles to this day, we are forever grateful for the work he has done, the emerging filmmakers he has inspired, and the millions who encountered his films and went out to make the world one step better, for people, planet, and all creatures on it.
