Setup for the Jackson Homecomers Celebration will begin Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in Uptown Jackson, affecting S. High St. and portions of Court St.

This year's celebration will take place Tuesday, July 21, through Saturday, July 25.

Beginning Monday afternoon, portions of Main St., Court St., Barton Sq., W. Adams St., and W. Jefferson St. will be closed for the event.

The intersections of S. High St. & E. Jefferson St. and S. High St. & W. Adams St. will remain open daily until 5:00 p.m.

Motorists traveling in and around the Uptown area are encouraged to use extra caution due to increased traffic congestion and pedestrian activity or to plan an alternate route during the celebration.
