The Books of Madison County is organized by the Jackson-Madison County Library Foundation. The purpose of the Foundation is to raise money to assist the library in achieving its annual and long-term goals by reaching the needs that are not met by the annual appropriations. Bruce Goddard is a columnist, novelist, podcast host, motivational speaker, and retired funeral director. Since 1977, he has been happily married to his beloved wife, Kathy. He is a father to three and a grandfather to nine.
