When husband and wife Kent and Tahny Lowry purchased their Horton home in 2017, they didn’t anticipate that they would end up operating a full-fledged farm and bakery in their front yard.
What started out with selling homemade baked goods and owning a few alpacas has turned into an alpaca and llama farm, bakery, chapel, and thriving community center tucked away on the outskirts of Jackson.
Lowry’s Little Flock Farm hosts large community events, weddings, local work and volunteer opportunities for students and a no-charge small-farm experience for anyone in and around the area. The Lowrys are continually finding creative and innovative ways to provide value to people through their products, animals, and a wide swath of experiences available on their farm.
