Morgan Michelle Photography knocked it out of the park with these senior pics of Lance.
When your child participates in non-traditional activities in high school it’s sometimes hard to explain. And for people that don’t know racing I often hear “It’s just a bunch of cars going in circles.” But there is so much more to this sport and I can’t thank Morgan enough for jumping in and capturing so perfectly what we do.

It was definitely an ‘almost’ full moon night of racing. Lance lost his throttle line (Robb and Rich able to get that fixed) in heat races and started the Feature dead last in 12th position. He was racing great and had worked all the way up to 5th in striking distance of 4th and he got caught up when the car in front of him spun. He had no where to go. 🤷♀️ That’s just part of racing…sometimes things are just out of your control. But he did so well getting all the way to 5th!
Why am I up at 5:30am after a long night of racing? Because Lance has to be at work at 6am and Robb has to be on a bus a little later to take JMS XC to Sectionals this morning.
Yes….I will be going back to bed after they are both off!
Wow! What a fun night. Started 7th of 12 in the feature. Lance made a pass with two laps to go and finished 4th.
Lance had a great night in a very competitive POWRi field. Started 8th and finished 7th in the Heat. Robb and Rich made some adjustments and he started 13th and finished 9th in the feature. Forward progress is always the goal. The season is winding down with three more races left at Jacksonville Speedway.
Robb was up at 5am and on a bus for a cross country meet this morning…He’s going to be really tired tonight.
