CAD Drafting Position Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
The CAD Drafting position is responsible for producing high quality project design deliverables in both FF&E and construction documents. The CAD technician will work on all phases of design development including Conceptual Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration. This position will be a contract labor employment.

REQUIREMENTS
 Competent in CAD drafting skills.
 Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
 Ability to multitask with excellent follow through.
 Good communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 Work closely with the principal to develop and execute all aspects of design projects including contract documents.
 Provide project documentation including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, interior detailing, etc.
 Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills
 Strong work ethic with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
 Be extremely organized with the ability to meet all deadlines.
