We swam with manatees in Crystal River, Florida. My in-laws took us in January 2018 on a very cold day (high was 40 degrees). A cold day is the BEST day to see the manatees. I think it also helped that we did the tour on a Thursday. Manatees come from the ocean to the natural springs to warm up. The springs are a constant 72 degrees year round. [ 565 more words ]

Even though these were taken in the summer there were still beautiful flowers. Look at the height of the roses compared to the children. They are the tallest roses I've ever seen. These photographs were centered around the concept of a family party decorating Easter eggs. These photos were taken right before Easter. I loved everything about the photo-session. Since this was an extended family session, there are countless combination of photographs I could take. I asked ahead of time what photographs were important to capture then went from there.
