Our Story

DLC Nurse & Learn (DLC) is a quality, child care facility for children with severe disabilities and medically complex conditions. Children attending DLC have a wide range of disabilities, including Down Syndrome, Arthrogryposis, Tuberous Sclerosis, Tay-Sachs Disease, Cerebral Palsy and seizure disorders. Due to the special needs of the children served, DLC maintains a professional staff including a Registered Nurse, Nursing Assistants, Special Education Teachers, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists.

DLC currently offers full and part-time special education preschool, extended day for children (birth to 3 years) and for older students attending public school (3-22 years of age). DLC also provides full-time nursing care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, therapeutic summer camp and M.O.V.E. mobility training. All of these services allow parents to continue their education and/or work.
